My target 295000 Steps

I'm taking part in the Walk in Her Name Step Challenge in aid of Ovarian Cancer Action

Every year, 295,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer globally. Approximately half of these women will not survive beyond five years. March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and I’m taking 295,000 steps throughout the month to raise funds for life-saving research that will help these women, and the next generation, survive.

Please help me take 295,000 steps, raise £295 and move research forward. #stepforeverywoman

Which came first - the chicken or the egg ??

Saturday 27th Mar
A very good friend dared me to walk around my village wearing a fancy dress costume in return for a very kind donation....  so I couldnt possibly refuse....
I roped a local friend in to join me & today we had lots of fun walking for 2 hours around the village as a chicken & egg 🐔🍳

Feathered friends

My step challenge

Tuesday 9th Mar

               ❤ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 🤎

A few weeks ago one of my friends -  Issy,  shared the details of this challenge & explained that she was hoping to get a team together to complete it in memory of her mum, my friend Lydia.

Lydia was a wonderful lady, I first met her 30 years ago when Issy was a baby... I had the pleasure of babysitting for Issy, then later her younger sister Chessie too.  Some of my friends on here also knew Lydia,  but for those of you who didnt.. she was one of the most  positive, kind, funny, caring & loyal  people you could ever wish to meet  & tragically she was taken 2 years ago by this cruel illness.

For this reason I am proudly completing this challenge in her memory..   because every penny raised will help this charity to continue their wonderful work. .  . Any donations received are very much appreciated.... and if it's not possible for you to donate then please, please share this post  because that will also be equally appreciated as  it could help to save a life & spare a family the devastating loss that Issy, Chessie & their family are experiencing.

Thankyou for reading 💜
